North West Credit Union’s Educational Bursary Awards 2026

North West Credit Union is reminding members and their families that applications for the 2026 Educational Bursary will close on Friday, 30th May 2026.

Now entering its 18th year, the Educational Bursary Programme continues to support students in our community as they progress through third-level education. To date, the scheme has awarded over €165,000 to students pursuing a wide range of academic pathways.

Following the successful relaunch of the bursary format in 2025, the programme remains bigger, better, and more accessible than ever, offering meaningful financial support at a time when the cost of education and living expenses continues to rise.

2026 Educational Bursary Details:

✔️ €14,000 Total Bursary Fund
✔️ Seven Individual Awards of €2,000 Each
✔️ Expanded Eligibility Criteria

Students who are eligible are encouraged to submit their applications before the closing date of 30th May 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
