Investing in Our Communities
As a community-owned financial co-operative, supporting local communities is at the heart of everything we do. Through our Community Fund, North West Credit Union invests directly back into the areas we serve, helping groups develop facilities, deliver programmes, preserve local heritage, encourage participation in sport and create opportunities for people to come together.
Every application received is carefully considered, and once again the quality of submissions highlighted the incredible dedication, passion and volunteer spirit that exists across the North West.
Looking Ahead to 2027
This funding round marks the final Community Fund allocation of 2026.
Since the launch of the Community Fund, North West Credit Union has provided funding through three annual rounds of €10,000 each, distributing a total of €30,000 every year to local organisations and community projects.
We are excited to announce that from 2027, the Community Fund will move to two funding rounds per year, with €15,000 available in each round.
Applications Reopen in 2027
We would like to congratulate all successful applicants and thank every organisation that took the time to apply.
The enthusiasm, innovation and community spirit shown throughout the application process continues to demonstrate the strength of the communities we serve.
Applications for the next round of funding will reopen in 2027, and we look forward to supporting even more projects that make a lasting difference across our region.
