Community Fund Winners Announced
We are delighted to announce the successful organisations from the latest round of our Community Fund, supporting community‑led projects across Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon.
This round closed on 29 May 2026 and attracted a strong response from local groups working in the areas of inclusion, health, wellbeing, environmental improvement and community connection.
All applications were reviewed by our Community Committee, made up of members of our Board, Management Team and Staff, who carefully read through every submission and collectively selected the projects to be supported in this round. All successful applicants have now been contacted.

The successful projects span a wide range of community priorities, including:
- Supporting inclusion and participation for people with disabilities
- Promoting health, wellbeing and active lifestyles
- Enhancing community spaces and shared environments
- Encouraging environmental awareness and biodiversity
- Strengthening local connection and volunteer‑led initiatives
Each project reflects the commitment, creativity and dedication of local groups working to make a positive difference in their communities.
Next Community Fund Round Now Open
The next round of the Community Fund is now open, with applications closing on 21 August 2026.
We encourage community groups, voluntary organisations and local initiatives to apply and share their ideas for projects that support inclusion, wellbeing and community development.
